Archery & Hunting Lessons
Course 1: Archery
Archery is fun for everyone! It's easy when you learn the right way.
· Learn some history and some lore about archery.
· Learn to match the bow to the archer for a proper fit
· Learn to choose the right arrow for your bow.
· Learn how a bow works and how to maintain it.
· Learn to put an arrow into small targets from long distances before
the course is done.
· Learn about archery clubs and gatherings in your area.
Whether you hunt or shoot target, you will have so much fun and it is easier than you think.
I'll have you hitting a small paper plate at long distances within the first lesson. In no time at all you will be challenging your self to put an arrow into a target the size of a quarter. There are local archery clubs in every community where you can have fun target shooting with the whole family. Check your local area and I'll bet there are archers near you.

Course 2: Hunting & Habitat
No license required. No taking of animals. Instruction only.
Men & woman, boys and girls of all ages can learn to hunt!
There is nothing more satisfying and self-esteem building than the feeling that comes from providing for yourself and your family. "Hunting is a lifestyle of being an active part of nature instead of the status quos of segregating oneself from nature."
· Learn to hunt (Gun or Bow hunters welcome)
· Learn about hunting's history, its benefits and its purpose.
· Learn how to acquire and understand game laws.
· Learn why modern day humans still need to hunt, the benefits of
organic meat, and how hunting helps to preserve all animals.
· Learn species identification and the habits and needs for each
game animal and how non-game animals can affect the hunt.
· Learn how to assess land to make the best judgments based on the
arrangement of the 5 elements of habitat.
· Learn about the 5 hunting methods and which is right for any given
situation.
· How to plan for an approach to close the deal based the "spot
an stalk method."
· Learn how to call game animals. Just about every animal can be
persuaded via sound.
· Learn the magic of stealth and how to achieve it.
· Learn vital areas and shot placement per game animal and how to
know when to shoot.
· Several methods of shooting to compensate for common situations
that often cause a hunter to make bad shot.
· Learn some tricks to finding lost arrows. Safety while shooting!
· Learn to clean (field dress), haul and skin you game animal to
make the whole process quick and clean to preserve the meat.
· Learn butcher ebdicate, taxidermist knowledge and how both of these
entities can ruin your experience if you don't play by their rules.
· Learn to be safe while hunting; there are no hunting "accidents"
only errors in judgments from a lack of knowledge and/or a lack of safe
practice.
You'll be delighted to know that all of this training comes in the form
of fun. It all makes sense when you hear it and I'll present it in a humorous
way that will keep your attention, no matter who you are or how old you

Why hunt?
The main reason we hunt is to provide organic food to our families and to manage the remaining wilderness to insure the proliferation of all species.The benefits of hunting go beyond what you might think i.e. Delicious organic meat, the fulfillment of exercise, the desire to be a part of nature, the quest for seeing new sights, the paramount of responsibility, the good deed of stewarding the land, the effort of funding wildlife & habitat programs, camaraderie, passion, challenge, meditation, logical thing, critical thinking, creative thinking, mathematical thinking, decision making, animal habits and how they affect our world, human habits and how to change them to blend with nature, to softly walk, to use your eyes, nose and fingers, to benefit nature. Not only is learning to shoot a rifle or a bow easy and really fun, when coupled with learning to find, harvest and care for your own game, you gain a confidence of knowing that you can feed yourself. Even if you don't intend to replace the entire meat portion of your diet with organic, unprocessed wild meat, it is nice to know that you could.The feeling that "No matter what happens on this planet, I'm eating," is confidence.
Every living being eats other living beings… period. I prefer to harvest my own food. I don't need a gardener to get a tomato or a hit man at the store to get my meat. I can take care of my own and the time I spend in nature is valuable, healthy time spent being real.Providing organic, wild food is very honorable and the whole process is amazing.

Everything has a form and a function and when you learn the form, it's function becomes easy. Knowledge is power know matter what you endeavor to accomplish, especially when it comes to controlling you own behavior. Shooting will teach you a lot about your self and the hunt course will teach you a lot about the animals you will pursue with your bow or rifle. What I do is demystify the shooting & hunting process. It is like brain surgery "It's easy, once you know how".
